Hi! I'm Kate Kauffman, children's book author and lover of all things silly, spooky, and wildly imaginative.

Kate partnered with Tgosketch Illustrations to create the bold, imaginative artwork behind Real Monsters .

Tgosketch is led by Tyrus Goshay, an award-winning digital illustrator and 3D artist with over 18 years of experience in the creative industry. When he's not bringing stories to life through art, he serves as a college professor, teaching game design and illustration. Tyrus holds a Bachelor's in Computer Animation and Multimedia and a Master's in Teaching with Technology (MALT). His creative journey spans multiple award-winning projects in toy design, children's books, and education. He continues to be recognized for his achievements in both art and academia.

Tyrus works alongside an incredible creative team that includes Rhona Filgueras, a gifted character illustrator known for her expressive storytelling, and Katherine (Katie) Joyner, a talented concept and color artist whose sense of mood and composition brings each page to life.
